Konjic, July 15, 2026 - Balkan Shield 2026 (First Balkan Shield – Industry Expo and Summit 2026) is positioned as a regional platform connecting industry, science, and institutions with the aim of developing advanced technologies, strengthening cooperation, and creating sustainable industrial solutions. This fair gathers market leaders, innovators, military and police officials, and key decision-makers from all over the world. The fair covers the entire value chain—from advanced defense technologies, weapons, and military equipment to smart solutions for security and logistics. A special focus is placed on innovation, modernization, and forging strategic partnerships, providing exhibitors with a platform for direct business networking and breakthrough into the global market. The significance and international character of this event are best illustrated by the fact that previous participants include reputable companies and factories from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Türkiye, China, and Egypt.
Conference Program and Panels
In addition to the rich exhibition segment, the Balkan Shield 2026 fair will host a series of professional conferences and panel discussions. These events will gather leading domestic and international experts who will discuss current trends, challenges, technological innovations, and legal regulations in the defense industry and global security sectors.
Interested visitors and experts from the respective industries who are not participating as exhibitors but wish to attend the conference program, panels, and exhibition space can register as visitors upon paying a registration fee. Registration Deadlines (EXHIBITORS)
Applications for participation in the Fair must be submitted in accordance with the following strictly defined deadlines:
1. Until August 1, 2026 – Registration deadline for Exhibitors who are not showcasing physical exhibits and choose one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM, and ELITE).
2. Until August 1, 2026 – Registration deadline for Exhibitors from BiH who are showcasing physical exhibits and choose one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM, and ELITE).
3. Until July 20, 2026 – Registration deadline for Exhibitors coming from outside BiH (foreign exhibitors) who are showcasing physical exhibits and choose one of the 4 defined packages (STANDARD, ADVANCED, PREMIUM, and ELITE).
4. Until July 15, 2026 – Registration deadline for all Exhibitors (BiH and foreign exhibitors) who are not showcasing physical exhibits and wish to order a custom-designed and built stand (custom stand).
5. Until July 15, 2026 – Registration deadline for all Exhibitors (BiH and foreign exhibitors) who are showcasing physical exhibits and wish to order a custom-designed and built stand (custom stand).
Important Note for Exhibitors with Exhibits
We emphasize that it is of crucial importance for all companies planning to showcase physical exhibits to apply as soon as possible. Due to the specific nature of the defense industry, complex procedures for obtaining import and export permits must be initiated timely with the competent ministries of both countries to avoid border delays.
Space Rental Options
Exhibitors have the following options available for their presentation:
• Indoor space: Stands with dimensions of 49m², 36m², 20m², and 16m² (stands can be doubled and combined depending on the total desired square footage).
• Outdoor space: An available area of 324m².
Upon registration, exhibitors are required to indicate whether they are renting raw space only or one of the standard stand packages with the accompanying equipment. Detailed equipment and package specifications are available on the official website.
Who Can Apply?
Applications for participation and exhibition can be submitted by companies from the defense and security industry sectors, manufacturers of weapons, military equipment, protection systems, security and logistics service providers, and enterprises from related industries.
