On March 6, 1950, when Josip Broz Tito signed the decision on incorporation of the enterprise of importance for the general public, under the name "Igman", the city of Konjic and ists surroundings were awaken by this symbolic gesture from a century of social lethargy and became a part of history, entering an era of industrial development.

Our city, our municipality, even our whole region have become an integral part of the global economic stage by the mere fact that we export our products to more then 50 countries worldwide.

Seventy years ina a company history speaks about its muturity and vast experience, good organization, vitality and strategy, especially of its products are sold in the international market, as is the case with "Igman", where the company competes with big companies in the military industry.

"Igman" currently employs more than 1,300 professionals who are continuosly perfecting theor skills.

Continous investments in the production process, purchase of equipment, staff training, following international trends in ammunition manufacturing and good international marketing are the reasons we are confident in being able to meet our business plans for the coming years.

If international export is considered as the primary parameter for production quality valuation, the military industry enterprise "Igman" d.d. Konjic is the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina's economy.

Ownership Structure: - 51% owned by State - 49% owned by Private Owners

Ammunition production is made in accordance to the following standards:

1) NATO, MIL and Russian standard for military ammunition

2) CIP and SAMMI standard for hunting ammunition

Naredbu o izgradnji vojne fabrike “Igman” potpisao je 6. marta 1950. Josip Broz Tito. „Igman“ je u početku proizvodio isključivo za potrebe Jugoslovenske narodne armije, ali je već 1952. godine dio proizvodnje izvezao na inostrano tržište, i od tada je permanentno rastući izvoznik proizvoda namijenjenih odbrani. Sedamdeset godina u historiji kompanije govori o njenoj zrelosti i velikom iskustvu, dobroj organizaciji, vitalnosti i strategiji. Svojom modernom tehnologijom izrade municije "Igman" se svrstava među proizvođače koji udovoljavaju zahtjevima kupaca širom svijeta. Vlasnička struktura: - 51% u državnom vlasništvu (Vlada Federacije BiH) - 49% u privatnom vlasništvu

Proizvodnja municije prema sljedećim standardima:

1) NATO, MIL i Ruski standard za vojnu municiju

2) CIP i SAMMI standard za lovačku municiju
