Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Defense Industry at IDEF’25 Trade Fair

Konjic, July 23, 2025 - The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina has organized a joint presentation of Bosnian defense industry companies at the 17th International Defense Industry Fair – IDEF 2025, which opened yesterday at the Istanbul Expo Center in Turkey and will run until July 27, 2025.

At the national stand of Bosnia and Herzegovina, covering 72 m² and located in Hall 5, Booth 5-C07, five Bosnian companies are being showcased: Igman Konjic, Unis Ginex Goražde, Binas Bugojno, Pretis Vogošća, and Pobjeda Technology Goražde.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina stand has attracted significant attention from numerous visitors. Exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina were visited by the President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, Mr. Ahmet Egrlić, Deputy Secretary General Mr. Nihad Bajramović, and the Minister of Defense of BiH, Mr. Zukan Helez. During meetings with representatives of BiH institutions and companies, discussions were held on the current state of the domestic defense industry, the key challenges facing the sector, and opportunities to improve competitiveness and export potential. Emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening cooperation between institutions and the private sector to develop modern production capacities and adapt to evolving security and market demands.

IDEF is recognized as one of the most significant international defense industry fairs and is held every two years. The 16th edition, held in 2023 at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center, hosted more than 1,200 exhibitors from 53 countries, covering over 120,000 square meters of exhibition space and attracting more than 60,000 business visitors from around the world.

The fair provides a vital platform for presenting the latest innovations in defense products and technologies. Participants include defense companies, military officials, defense industry experts, government representatives, media outlets, academics, and non-governmental organizations.

IDEF plays a crucial role in promoting technological advancements and innovations in the defense sector. Among the attendees are leading companies from the defense industry, military leaders, sector experts, representatives of government institutions, academia, media, and NGOs.

Namjenska industrija Bosne i Hercegovine na sajmu IDEF’25

Konjic, 23. 7. 2025. - Vanjskotrgovinska/Spoljnotrgovinska komora Bosne i Hercegovine organizirala je zajednički nastup bh. kompanija iz namjenske industrije na 17. Međunarodnom sajmu odbrambene industrije IDEF 2025, koji je otvoren jučer u turskom Istanbul Expo Centru i trajat će do 27.7.2025. godine.

Na nacionalnom štandu Bosne i Hercegovine, površine 72 m², koji se nalazi u Hali 5 na broju 5-C07, predstavlja se pet bh. kompanija: Igman Konjic, Unis Ginex Goražde, Binas Bugojno, Pretis Vogošća i Pobjeda Technology Goražde.

Štand Bosne i Hercegovine privukao je pažnju brojnih posjetilaca. Izlagače iz Bosne i Hercegovine posjetili su predsjednik Vanjskotrotrgovinske komore BiH Ahmet Egrlić i zamjenik generalnog sekretara Nihad Bajramović, te ministar odbrane Bosne i Hercegovine Zukan Helez. Na sastancima predstavnika bh. institucija i kompanija razgovarano je o aktuelnom stanju domaće namjenske industrije, ključnim izazovima s kojima se sektor suočava, te mogućnostima za unapređenje konkurentnosti i izvoznog potencijala. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na važnost jačanja saradnje između institucija i privrede u cilju razvoja savremenih proizvodnih kapaciteta i prilagođavanja savremenim sigurnosnim i tržišnim zahtjevima.

Sajam IDEF ubraja se među najznačajnije međunarodne sajmove namjenske industrije i održava se svake dvije godine. Na 16. izdanju, održanom 2023. godine u Tuyap kongresnom i izložbenom centru, ovaj prestižni događaj okupio je više od 1.200 izlagača iz 53 zemlje na izložbenom prostoru od 120.000 metara kvadratnih, privukavši pritom više od 60.000 poslovnih posjetilaca iz cijelog svijeta.

Sajam pruža značajnu platformu za predstavljanje najnovijih dostignuća proizvoda i tehnologija u odbrambenoj industriji, a učesnici su kompanije odbrambene industrije, vojni zvaničnici, stručnjaci za industriju odbrane, predstavnici vlade, medijske organizacije, akademici i nevladine organizacije.
