Igman d.d Konjic successfully implemented new ISO quality standards

Ammunition factory “Igman” d.d. Konjic has successfully completed a new audit of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Quality Management System (QMS).

ISO certification confirms that the “Igman” Quality Management System applies strict, quality and  security standards in highly sophisticated military ammunition production.

These certifications are the result of our dedication to quality. With our recognizable high standards and the new certificate ISO 9001: 2015, which confirms our commitment to further development and improvement, we strengthen our position and continue to build a positive image on the world military industry market.  Also, ISO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 certificates confirm our strong commitment to environmental protection and importance of providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees, said Đahid Muratbegović, CEO Igman d.d.


ISO 9001:2015 certification recognizes the company’s quality management system, including its production and testing processes, following rigorous manufacturing and quality process audits. ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard focusing on practical tools for companies looking to manage their environmental responsibilities. OHSAS 1800:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Certification) is an international standard which provides a framework to identify, control and decrease the risks associated with health and safety within the workplace.

Igman d.d. company was established on the 6th March 1950 and is based in Konjic, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Igman’s production program has military and hunting ammunition with differrent types of bullets (5.56 mm – 12.7 mm). Up to now, Igman d.d. Konjic exported  products in more than 50 countries all over the world.
